Evening Lovely Blogger Friends! Welcome back to Write On for another Weekend Coffee Share! I hope you had a lovely week last week. My weeks have been going by much more quickly since I have been having Fridays off. I almost dread the day when my Boss tells me those days are over…
If we were having coffee I would tell you that Friday was a lovely day. I woke early and brought the Little People to school and then the Mister and I went and collected our paychecks and had breakfast at IHop. After that we walked around Best Buy for a bit, searching for a laptop charger to replace the one our teething puppy chewed in half. Unfortunately, we didn’t find one. Shame. We also walked around Booksamillion for awhile and my debit card screamed at me to remind me that I don’t have enough money for all of the purchases I want. Also a shame. I was quite heartbroken. All in all it was a lovely, relaxing day.
If we were having coffee I would tell you that puppy has been quite rambunctious this weekend and I am rather exhausted as a result. It’s just like having a toddler all over again! The girls and I took her for a walk yesterday and the poor thing was all over the place. We only walked up and down our street one time but she’s never been on a walk before (we have a large backyard she plays in and our vet keeps telling us we shouldn’t take her out too often since she is a puppy and that she’s extremely susceptible to puppy viruses. She was entranced by all of the different smells and stopped frequently to smell specific spots on sidewalks for several moments at a time. Once we got back home the poor thing was exhausted and took a long nap. I think she enjoyed herself. 🙂
If we were having coffee I would tell you that nothing rather interesting has been happening lately. My tomato and jalapeno plants are blooming nicely and the citronella plant seems to be doing it’s job. I need about a thousand more of those because I have a mosquito phobia… 😦
Anyhow, that’s really all that’s been new with me. How about you? How was your week? I hope you had a lovely weekend and have a productive upcoming week! Until next time, Friends!
“Once we got back home the poor thing was exhausted and took a long nap. I think she enjoyed herself.” Aww! Poor little sleepy thing. 😀

I was worried the walk would be nervewracking for her seeing how she’s only been anywhere outside other than the backyard once lol. She seemed to enjoy it though! 😄

Walking your puppy will help with her rambunctious actions. Getting her past teething will help also. Think about obedience training when she is older.

I sure hope so!

A toddler with a tail – good description of a dog/puppy. How old is she? It won’t be long before she’ll run to the door every time she thinks she hears the word ‘walk” 😉
Have a great week.

She’s six months old, does this still constitute as a puppy? Because she’s huge for a puppy 😄

I call my three year olds “puppies, so I say yes 😉 Actually, technically they shouldn’t be treated as adults until at least a year and some breeds don’t really reach full maturity until a couple or three years. But at 6 months she is old enough for walks (in my opinion).

I think my Baby Puppy is going to be one of those you’re talking about- a “late bloomer” maturity wise. 😂 Thank you for the info, Trent!
