If We Were Having Coffee (Weekend Coffee Share) 11/06/16

Evenin’ Blogger Friends! Been awhile since I’ve posted one of these, I’m honestly not sure when the last time was but I thought it would be nice to post one tonight. Me personally, I’m not drinking coffee because it’s 8:30 p.m. in my part of Texas and if I drink coffee right now I’ll never be able to get to sleep tonight. Me+lack of sleep=a very bad combination. 😂

If we were having coffee I would tell you that I’ve been extra busy this past week with not only #NaBloPoMo but also with #NanoWrimo. #NaBloPoMo is a thirty-day posting event that I was informed of by the lovely Ra Avis who writes the blog Rarasaur. She writes some of the most beautiful things I’ve seen in all of my time on WordPress and I encourage you to give her blog a peeksie! #NaBloPoMo is an event in which you blog every day for thirty days.

Wow! Just let that sink in for a moment. 😄

For awhile there I was doing pretty well at posting every day but I just felt like I was more spewing words than talking about anything of interest. The first couple of days of #NaBloPoMo were hard for me! I found myself staring at the screen wondering what exactly I would write about. There are some prompts that you can find on the BlogHer website but I decided to just let my imagination run wild this month. And so it has!

I have to say that I’m feeling pretty positive about what I’ve written so far, not only for #NaBloPoMo but the other posts I’ve written as well!

If we were having coffee I would tell you that I am exhausted. I was a bit more productive this weekend than I have been for the past couple of weekends, but not much more. I’ve mostly been writing my story for NanoWrimo and wondering where the heck it is going. I really have no clue at this point. I’m also trying to remind myself that usually the first drafts of every novel suck… Yeah…

If we were having coffee I would ask you how the weather has been where you live. It’s cooled down quite a bit in my part of Texas, which I am loving very much. I’ve been seeing quite a bit of gorgeous fall pictures on Facebook and wishing that I lived anywhere that has an abundance of beautiful fall colored leaves like these that I see in pictures. Alas, I am in tumbleweed city, not literally, but pretty close. I suppose the dirt has a nice fall brown to it…

If we were having coffee I would tell you that I am excited about Thanksgiving! I am hoping that the Mister and I will go out of town with his parents to spend the holiday with the rest of his family. We went last year and even though I wasn’t feeling much like myself (I had only just started taking the antidepressants) I still quite enjoyed meeting his family, all of whom were extremely loving towards my kids. Not to mention the food was absolutely marvelous!

If we were having coffee I would tell you that I am exhausted but I am happy. I have been writing some things that are not my usual style but that I have felt compelled to write nonetheless. It has been therapeutic to me and I’m hoping the images don’t stop coming. And now my Friends, my drier is screaming at me so I must return to the land of the Laundry Queen. 😄
