NanoWrimo

Wow… It’s been over a month since the last time I wrote for this blog… I just needed a break I guess. I was writing a lot if things that weren’t related to my fiction writing and I was feeling as though I was becoming discouraged. Surprisingly, my number of followers has steadily been climbing, for which I am extremely grateful! A great big thank you to everyone who hasn’t given up on me yet, I guess…

I decided to start writing for this blog again after I made the decision to complete the NanoWrimo challenge this year. I’m going to write 50,000 words in November… Yes, you read that right… 50,000 words…

I have a rough idea of what I want my story to be about. I have even gone as far as to make a loose outline. I’m pretty excited and fairly optimistic about the challenge. I figure that one of the best ways for me to keep on track is by posting about it on my blog. I’ve got a couple of readers that have been pretty consistent about commenting which makes me happy to think that there are people in the world who read my words and care about what is happening in my life. I’ve also been trying my best to keep up with my flood of emails of daily posts that my fellow writers have been doing. You guys are still doing an amazing job at staying consistent and producing some really great writing!

Wow… 50,000 words… I’ve been trying not to think about it too much before I pysche myself out and give up before I even start… I can do this… Whew…

I can do this…

  1. I want to do NANOWRIMO this year, and even signed up! Yet, I feel just like you, excited, nervous, will I give up? I hate giving up.Last year I wrote 30,000 words in November; that’s still more than I’d ever done in a month! So, at the very least, I intend to break my record. If you sign up, find me and friend me there: Pamela Schloesser Canepa. πŸ™‚
